Hi Tim.
I am from Denmark and the proud owner of a 928 S4 from 1991
Here in Denmark most go for a turbo solution for their cars. I want a Supercharger solution
for my 928.
I have read very possitively about your supercharger set stage 3.
what do i have to do to get this setup on my car here in Denmark? i am not an educated in cars but if there are a good instruction with pics ,i think i can do it myself.
what is your proposal for me?
claus jensen.

Hi Claus, and welcome to the forum.

The fiirst thing that you'd want to do is to have the car in good condition before the supercharger installation. If there is something causing problems in the way that the car runs now, putting on the supercharger might make it more noticable. It might also make it harder for some people to correctly diagnose the problem then, because they might assume it has something to do with the supercharger kit, when it really doesn't. Some of the most common problems people seem to have seen have been vacuum/boost leaks, a MAF that's out of calibration, or electrical connection problems, like bad wiring at the MAF connector.

The price for the Stage-3 kit is $7995 + the actual shipping cost.

The stage-3 kit includes:
Vortech V3 T-trim polished supercharger with self contained oiling system. (Has one satin finish one and will give $200 discount for it)
Air filter assembly
All required air ducting, connecting pieces, and clamps
Custom Murf 928 supercharger bracket with integral belt tensioner (powdercoated satin black)
Custom Murf 928 pulleys (CNC machined and hard coat anodized)
Drive belts
4 pancake fans (mounting brackets included)
1 pusher fan (mounting bracket included)
Air/water intercooler system, including intercooler, pump, heat exchanger, and all required hose and fittings
Air/fuel and boost gauges, including custom bracket for ash tray location mounting
42lb/hr Ford racing fuel injectors
Custom Murf 928 mass air meter adaptor
Custom Murf 928 Stage-3 computer ignition chip
Custom Murf 928 Stage-3 computer fuel chip (Vortech FMU is not used)
Replacement radiator hose
Everything else required for a complete installation
Complete installation instructions

The kit is not really very hard or complicated to install. If you have experience with working on these cars, the installation will not take as long to do, but you definitely do not need to be an experienced mechanic to do it. There are complete instructions, with pictures, included with the kits. If anyone does have questions when doing an installation, there is support available both here, and also by telephone. You definitely won't be on your own with no help if you do have any kind of question.

With a couple of people working on it, the stage-3 kit can be installed in one day, but that is not typical. Most people take their time doing it, and end up looking at and cleaning things as they go. Most people seem to enjoy doing the installation, and learn some things about their car while doing it. The way that the kit is set up, it does not need to all be installed at the same time. That way the car can still be driven if you don't have the time to do the whole installation all at one time. You can do part of the installation in one day, or over a weekend, and then still be able to drive the car until the next time that you get a chance to work on the rest of the installation again.

The stock exhaust system does not need to be changed to install the kits. The kits work with either the stock exhaust or a more free flowing one. A less restrictive exhaust will give more horsepower, but is definitely not required.
